This is the start of a web page for ILSchaft, SybilSimon. Irene died in Texas on the ninth of August, 2010 of a massive stroke.

This site will incorporate pictures and words in memory of her. The "Memorial Pictures" page has some of the photos taken at the ceremony to spread her ashes in the Redwood Forest in California where she lived for many years and was very happy. She loved the forest and went there camping many times.

Her sister picked up her ashes in Texas and took them to California for their final resting place, close to where people first see the redwoods. She would enjoy hearing the first reactions of people to these magnificant trees.
